What are Save the Dates?

A card that gives brief details about your forthcoming wedding such as the name of the engaged couple, the date of the wedding and the venue if it is known. It politely requests that guests Save the Date for your big day and explains that the formal invitation will follow.


	WHY SEND SAVE THE DATE CARDS? Ensure your guests have plenty of time to organise their holidays and other events around the most important event of all– your wedding!! Save the date cards are essential if you are getting married during a bank holiday weekend, or when people tend to take their holidays, such as when their children are on school holidays. It is also a useful thing to do if you have got a wedding date, but your wedding is some time away. YOUR CHOICES Each card measures 10cm x 15cm and are placed in coloured envelopes. 1. Choose a card type– white or ivory, textured or smooth. 2. Choose a font style and colour. 3. Choose a printed or mounted decoration if required. 4. Choose a ribbon tassel, magnet to the back or both! 5. If you want a ribbon tassel choose your ribbon colour. 6. Choose your envelope colour.

	Full price details are to be found in the price grid on the right. If you already have an idea of your wedding colour then you can hint at it with your save the date card. Alternatively you can simply choose colours that you like, or keep it neutral. One of the main images above shows the back of a Save the Date card with a heart shaped magnet. No excuse for your guests to lose your wedding details as they can put it on their fridge to remind them of your forthcoming big day!! Our designs are very flexible. Printed decorations can be further embellished with Swarovski crystals or ultra fine glitters for a glamorous hint of sparkle.

	Colour and Design Options:

CHOOSE YOUR ENVELOPE COLOUR

Our envelopes are of the highest quality with pure, solid colour.

They are made from 135gsm paper with a crisp smooth finish.
(Most standard envelopes are 90-100gsm).

The envelopes measure 23cm x 16cm. These will create a great impression when they reach your guests.


	Ribbon colours - We use only the highest quality ribbons for our stationery.

Luxurious double faced satins that tie beautifully and look utterly sumptuous
Wonderfully light, sheer organza ribbons for a more delicate look. These ribbons have a subtle light reflecting quality.
